Moving our cottage to the new park

My wife and I had purchased a small but comfy twenty-year-old cottage at Crocus Grove Sun Club in late 2000. It consisted of a kitchen/dining building with an attached tent trailer under a roof extension. With the kind help of a uniquely skilled member and a handful of others, we moved our modest little cottage and outbuildings from the old campground in November 2010. Snow arrived just a few days later. We would be putting everything back together again first thing next spring.

We were the first members to officially occupy one of the new park's twenty seasonal lots. I've included "before" and "after" pictures showing what the cottage looked like on the ground with the deck in place at both locations. The last image is from Google Maps. It shows where our seasonal lot was located within the park (you can see our red truck in its usual spot beside the cottage).
