Photos of Naturist Legacy's early success
46. Windows, deck railings and other exterior work completed
Because of the continuing generosity of Naturist Legacy members, the
corporation raised enough money during spring invoicing to complete the
other half of the clubhouse kitchen. We sought and received approval from
the building inspector for these minor revisions to the
floor
plan. The changes to the kitchen area included the addition of a window.
Adding this window and installing the two washroom windows were first up
on my to-do list when my wife and I resumed work in early May. It was still
pretty cold out. You can see some vestiges of the winter snow pack remaining
on the north side of the clubhouse (there was even a light dusting of snow
during one of my first nights at the park). Once the windows were in, I
started preparing for the electrician (he was due near the middle of the
month). My wife took on the task of carefully unearthing the heavy underground
cables that would soon feed electricity to the clubhouse. In between visits
from the electrician, I managed to finish the new clubhouse decks just
in time for season opening by adding railings and balusters. I later built
an access door to the clubhouse attic.
