23. An early spring brings an early resumption to construction at the park

Our small group of volunteer workers was truly blessed with wonderful construction weather during the early years of Naturist Legacy Park. We were able to work until the middle of November in 2010, our first year. We started again in the middle of April 2011 and worked until the end of November. Our construction season got off to a remarkably early start in 2012. I already had boots on the ground as of March 20th and began working again shortly after our cottage was opened for the season. To be able to work that late into the fall and begin again that early in the spring over the course of several successive seasons — in our area of the Canadian prairies — was really quite extraordinary!
