Photos of Naturist Legacy's early success
15. Small but important water and waste projects
With most of the underground wiring trenches filled in, we turned our
attention to burying the water line that would connect the new well with
the yet-to-be-built washroom building, clubhouse and RV sanitary dump station.
Part of the new water line would be buried under locations that would occasionally
receive heavy vehicle traffic so we took the precaution of protecting our
flexible 1" polyethylene water pipe with rigid 2" ABS pipe in those areas.
Excess water pipe was coiled near where the washroom building would soon
be constructed. Around this same time we were able to capitalize on a convenient
opportunity to obtain a small amount of ready-mixed concrete for our RV
sanitary dump station. I and a fellow director quickly built forms and
added reinforcing steel. We were ready just in time to level and trowel
the concrete when it arrived. With these jobs done, two more small but
important construction and development projects could be crossed off Naturist
Legacy Park's 2011
task
list!
