The Legacy Project (June 27, 2010)

Status Report
"The Legacy Project is a plan to preserve social nudism in Manitoba through the acquisition of land that will be held in trust and permanently designated for nudist use."
A non-profit corporation will be needed to purchase, hold and maintain our new property. The proposed by-laws have now been fully discussed by the Crocus Grove Executive Board. An appointment with a lawyer is to be made next week. He will professionally review our work as well as help us with the Articles of Incorporation and the formal lending agreement needed so that members may begin fulfilling their pledges.

The Executive has also tentatively named the new corporation. A formal application to register the name with the Manitoba Companies Office will be made shortly. We'll reveal the new name once registeration has been successfully completed.

The land search continues. Two more properties were visited last week, and we hope to visit several more next week. We are still awaiting an answer from the owner of a previously located property that we believe would be well suited for our new home.

Do you know of property for sale that might be suitable for Crocus Grove Sun Club's new home? If so, please write to updates@crocusgrove.com and let us know.
