Photo Gallery 04 (2010)
My wife and I had purchased an existing cottage when we joined Crocus Grove Sun Club in 2001. With the kind help of a uniquely skilled member and a handful of others, we moved our modest little cottage and outbuildings from the old campground in November 2010. We were the first members to officially occupy one of the new park's twenty seasonal lots. I've included "before" and "after" pictures showing what the cottage looked like on the ground with the deck in place at both locations. The last image is from Google Maps. It shows where our seasonal lot was located within the park (you can see our red truck in its usual spot beside the cottage). I was at Naturist Legacy Park just about every day during its first few seasons doing construction and development work in addition to routine operational tasks like touring prospective members, cleaning washrooms and maintaining the pool. Our little cottage served us exceedingly well during those busy and productive years. It wasn't much to look at, but we sure loved living in it!
We demolished the cottage and vacated our seasonal lot in June 2016.
These photographs were taken in the summer of 2008, in November 2010 and in the summer of 2011. Please contact me if you'd like to learn more about them. Click or tap to enlarge.
John Kundert's Naturist Legacy Inc. / Naturist Legacy Park Scrapbook is relevant to Manitoba naturists, Manitoba naturism, Manitoba nudists and Manitoba nudism. Naturism (also called nudism) is the practice of going without clothing in social settings (generally in mixed-gender groups of all ages) in the belief that doing so is beneficial.
