Several truck loads of luxurious white beach sand were delivered to Naturist Legacy Park in mid-July by Miller's Trucking of Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba. This company also brought a large bulldozer that was used to push the piles of sand into the previously-excavated volleyball court "pit". The big machine was then used to level and pack the sand. A fellow director assisted my wife and I when we later dug two holes for the volleyball net posts and then set those posts in concrete. I designed a tensioning system for the net that would not present any hazards to players in the way a more conventional metal winch might have. Boundary ropes were staked at the four corners of the court.
