Naturist Legacy Park's new water well is drilled

Naturist Legacy Park's new water well was drilled on a brisk day in mid-May by Friesen Drillers Ltd. of Steinbach, Manitoba. My wife and I were there to open the gate and show them where to drill. The crew began their work at about 11:00 a.m. and finished at about 3:00 p.m. They worked non-stop, taking coffee breaks and eating lunch on the go while the drilling continued. The new water well was 120 feet deep and estimated to produce 100 gallons per minute, which was very good. The solid work ethic demonstrated by the Friesen Drillers crew was impressive, as was their level of skill and obvious desire to please their customer.

These photographs from my personal collection were taken in May 2011. Please contact me if you'd like to learn more about them. Click or tap to enlarge, or view all photos enlarged (1000px).
