My wife and I have been social nudists since 1988. I've been a public promoter and explainer of organized social nudism since 1994 when I began publishing a newsletter for social nudists.
We joined Crocus Grove Sun Club in 2001 and were still active members when it lost its home of 40 years on April 13, 2010, and when it evolved into Naturist Legacy Inc. on September 11, 2010.
Naturist Legacy Inc. was officially incorporated in the Province of Manitoba on July 26, 2010. I was a first director and incorporator.
I was the corporation's president in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, and the corporation's treasurer during the first half of 2014.
I was the lead planner, designer and builder of Naturist Legacy Park from 2010 until July 2014.
This was an era of great accomplishment and success for Naturist Legacy Inc. and Naturist Legacy Park (learn more).
The Naturist Legacy Board of Directors have met and wish to advise that it is with regret that we accept your resignation tendered in your email of June 30th, 2014. In doing so we also wish to acknowledgement (sic) your immeasurable contributions to NLI, its membership and Park. The board of directors informed members of my resignation on July 3, 2014:
We very much appreciate your offer to assist the Board as we work to take over responsibility for NLI's corporate business and Park operations. We look forward to working with you in these efforts and will be contacting you very shortly in this regard.
We wish to announce John Kundert's resignation from the Naturist Legacy Inc. Board of Directors. John has resigned from the Board as he feels he no longer shares our vision for Naturist Legacy's future. John and Eleanor intend to remain as members as well as maintain their lot.We vacated our seasonal lot on June 22, 2016.
We extend our deepest thanks to John for his service to the Board and Legacy's membership and his immeasurable contribution to Naturist Legacy Park.
Our membership in Naturist Legacy Inc. ended on April 30, 2017.
I learned a lot as a founder of Naturist Legacy Inc. and Naturist Legacy Park. There was "nuts and bolts" stuff, like learning how to incorporate a non-profit organization, and learning how to build a nudist park from the ground up, and then learning how to run it. But there was also deeper stuff, like what I learned about human nature while with them, and what I learned about myself after all was said and done. My interest in Naturist Legacy has been an epic learning journey that continues to this day, albeit now as an outsider. "Not all those who wander are lost" (J.R.R. Tolkien).
