Articles about Naturist Legacy's early success

It was two years ago today — on October 1, 2010 — that Naturist Legacy Inc. took possession of it's new property on PR 317.

Development at Naturist Legacy Park in 2012 can be summed up in two words:

Relentless Determination.

The washrooms were completed. The pool enclosure, swimming pool and splash deck were completed. Outdoor showers were completed. The sand volleyball court was completed. The bocce court was completed. The pool equipment enclosure was completed.

And we're still building!

Work is now underway on the main sun deck within the pool enclosure. It's an immense 12 foot by 60 foot structure that will connect the splash deck around the pool with the washroom deck and the outdoor showers.

As president of Naturist Legacy, it's my pleasure once again to express my deepest appreciation to those of you who have helped to make all these achievements possible through your financial support and through your active volunteering.

LOOKING BACK

I was with Naturist Legacy for seven years. I learned a lot during that time. There was "nuts and bolts" stuff, like learning how to incorporate a non-profit organization, and learning how to build a nudist park from the ground up, and learning how to run it. And then there was the deeper stuff, like what I learned about human nature during those years, and what I learned about myself after all was said and done. ?

"You can't connect the dots looking forward," Steve Jobs once said. "You can only connect them looking backward."
